Susan Blaser attended university in both California and Switzerland (BA Economics, MA Educational Technology, Teaching at the Secondary School in Switzerland). In California she worked in marketing and pricing for an international shipping company and has taught both in public and private schools in Switzerland. She has been translating from German to English since arriving in Switzerland in 2001. Most of her work has been in technical and labour fields (plumbing, carpentry, machinery, asphalt, etc.), however she has also done translations on many other subjects. Her expertise is in fine details and ensuring that the text is written as a native speaker would have written it (and not as a "translated" document).
